I dont knwo where to post a request, or if ppl do them, however i got something here that may interest some. There was once a perfect dark mod for hl1 but its long dead. I happen to have the files for it. Some of the weapons were converted to Sven coop, as i was bored. However, i cant map or figure it out, but have with me, the wads. bsps. and gfx. for perfect dark maps. My request is can someone convert it to sven coop as a playable map serries with a goal mayhaps? if nots its all good, hehe, but i am more or a model person and cant do mapping myself. Do you also have the custom models, sound, and sprite files too in the archive? If it's just the bsp's all you can really do to convert them without decompiling them is to ripent them, which can be quite difficult as it's done modifying the ents directly in a text basis. |

Amongst the weapon models I only see the world weapon models in there, the w_* models, there are 2 other types the v_* for your held weapon and p_* for dropped weapons or other players held weapons. Also missing the wad named grid.wad ... Do you have the original installer or archive? you could upload that, I haven't played this mod before, it would be easier to know what you need to do to convert it if you could play it. |
