i'm workin on a helloween map think of monaween, but one thats actually good WANNA HELP if your are a mapper just design a house about 10x11 grids in the defult grid size it may seem small at first but it will get big NEED TEXTURES(DON'T USE MONAWEENS) well download this mod http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/Hal ... _Mod;43295 the textures from here are prefered but not maditory its easier for me when i compile the map cuase i don't have to download any extra textures and yes i am using its models and i might convert it to sven |

in other words 640x704 units. if that's the x and y dimensions, what about the z dimension? |

jesus christ ive been busy with school, and one of my teachers i had for 6th grade all of a sudden went from a to a and shes been giving us a shitload of work |

Bah, I'd try out and help (I have pretty small experience in Hammer, I could probably make something) but unfortunately I still can't get Hammer to work with any GoldSRC games. |

don't use source hammer it doesn't work with goldsrc. |

also use zoners hl tools i haven't worked on it for atleas a week now i added like another 2 houses i think i tested it so far and it seemed fine just a couple textures not going invisible when i want them too, i made them NO LIGHTS YET- takes a long time to compile with lights i also need to fix all my doors i have them but they don't work cuase i don't have them set up for it yet |

Ok, I'm working on my contribution to the map, It's mostly underground except for a tent on the surface. I'm setting it up to be a stand alone map so I can thoroughly test it , you'll have to change the outdoor part to fit into the map at ground level, is that ok? I really don't understand how you could even put my map/house together with the whole thing.... How are you going to do it? |
