 How can i use ripent?

i'm trying to fix a map for a server in TFC (theres a entity where it causes the server to crash), and i don't know how to use ripent. Can someone tell me how to?

use nem's batch compiler
there is an option to extract the .ent file from the bsp
then just open it in notepad

*suggestion*
download dreamweaver
why you may ask
because if you open it in dreamweaver its formated
unlike in note pad with every thing literally jumbled up

you should set the -parse flag for importing and exporting entities if your using zhlt ripent tool, it'll parse the file to have windows style returns instead of linux style returns so it doesn't look screwed up in notepad.

just to let you know
you can use ripent to put .ent file back into the bsp
but you probably already know that
so i'll shut up now :oops:
