This is just a beta, a sort of personal experiment if you will.

I'd just like to see if the general player likes this type of map before I take it too seriously.

I THINK I Zipped it right lol

I've put it on the server.

I've also set up the rar properly, made a res file, and included the fire sprite from the mazing2008 map you used in this map. I updated your post with the new rar.

Alright, when we were playing this we got as far up to the Big momma with "OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAND!" life. We ran out of time before we could kill it. Many were complaining that they could not find any weapons. I found the Uzi but i know there was also an SMG somewhere. Alot of people got stuck in the black maze room. Over all it was okay, just that we could not kill the big momma in time because most of the players could not find any weapons so they were forced to use pistols against it.

We did but RIGHT after (like 10 seconds after) it changed. It all happened before we knew what the fuck

Surf type maps aren't a good type of map for SC, this is the ONLY surf map that I have seen in SC. the surfing skill is pretty much learned only in the cs games, and alot players in SC hate cs.

I dont hate CS, I wish i had CS again.
Surf Type maps are fun, but it doesn't beat Turrican fun/funny.
I don think surf maps would be best on sven coop.

you gotta work on the map more
one at first i didn't like cuase i don't play cs anymore so i don't know how to surf
but i got it though
but you need like 4 more player spawns
we all telefrag* each other
and the room to the right of the spawn is impossible to get through when you get passed the first 2 levels
i die when i land on the third level.


*telefrag-to spawn on the or teleport on a location where another player, and/or monster is stand. instants gib kill

First off, Thanks for all the input.

Now for some explanations,

The big momma only has to be reduced to 5000 before you can get past it, after which is the end of the map :/ It's short because I wanted to know what people thought about it so far before spending any more time on it.

The box maze in the second room IS ALWAYS completable, You just have to look closely... You don't let invisible floors in Secretcity stop you do you? But my little floor is visible 100% It's meant to be just a tiny bit challenging.

The Black void maze is very simple for anyone who thinks about the command menu for SC.
But apparently and sadly I'll have to make it easier in the next version...

And about weapons, you can get the SMG by completing the first challenge which is surfing to the end, pretty obvious.

Other weapons are KINDA secret, though NONE are through any kind of secret door or passable wall, making them rather easy to find if you just READ THE MOTD CAREFULLY and do a little thinking outside the box.

Cartman, I believe you are right about the surfing aspect not really suited for Sven co-op.
But I created it for the exact reason you just stated, alot of people don't like CS, but maybe they do like to surf.
So a few surf maps for SC can't hurt as an alternative can it?

The spawn point fraging.... I honestly don't know why everyone spawns in that ONE spot when I have 9 spawn points neatly spread about the spawn platform.

And again, this map was mainly just a test to bring out this kind of discussion so thank you very much for the input.

I'll make a v1.1 soon and change/fix a few things.

Keep the suggestions and comments coming :]
