The server was updated to 1.7.10 a little while ago. Most of the server plugins are still working with a couple having problems.

News about a major toss up in the bukkit community/server, which the server uses:
It may take some time for the server to update to minecraft 1.8, as I have to wait for a new server to come out for it, which may take a while seeing as bukkit is now pretty much dead. A new server is being crated, but it may take them a while to get a new server that works for 1.8 out, they have to recode most of the server for 1.8, due to legal troubles with the bukkit code base, which is causing the bukkit server/community to die.
