What if your not using a mod? What do I put for the "mod Directory" feild?

I haven't tried it without a mod, I believe you either leave it empty or put the path to the valve directory in there, if it's for one of the third party half-life games like opposing force then you put the path to the opfor directory in the mod path and set the game path to hl's vavle directory.
