Well my Vista keeps sucking and I have another system crash... Anyways I have to uninstall Steam again... If you are wondering how I am posting this now is because I'm using the Asus OS thats in the motherboard. So anyways I'll be out for a while getting all my shit back together and I'll probably send this to Best Buy for repairs.

Actually its not vista. Its my hard drive. I cant even restore. I get this blue screen with hardware failure on it. I figured, my computer fell off my desk and must of rumbled my hard drive and got scratches on it. It made funny noises for a bit, worked for a few seconds then it crashed.

No I have Vista too.

It's just I was telling you to go with HP or some more recognized manufacturer. Frankly, I don't know anybody who owns an Asus laptop.

Anyway, how high was the fall, do you think? If its just the hard drive you may be able to replace it.

The fall was pretty bad, the side of my computer has dented out ward and its a crack now.

Also HP is pretty bad. My brother's HP crapped out 4 times already and we now are able to get a new computer of equal price value.

Ah the diagnosis is that my computer has suffered hard drive failure. I wont be getting it back for a while though since its gonna take about 3 weeks.

To replace a hard drive? Is it a fixed hard drive?

That's quite a long time for just a hd, If I were to replace the one in my laptop it would only take a day or 2 to set everything back up again on it.

Yeah... they must have spotted some other hardware errors or are just trying to repair the chassis, I guess.

well if the case was cracked that might slow it down, also a fall could screw up other things like the ram or monitor.

Yeah, but even though if only the Hard drive was messed up the said it would still take up to 3 to 4 weeks to get it back so I told them they might as well fix the crack too, along with anything else that could have gone wrong.
