Well, im trying to make a video playthourgh of System Shock 2. FRAPS costs $37, and Xfire wont work with DirectX 6. So i'm wondering if anyone knows a free in-game recorder that can work with DirectX 6 games/Dark Engine Games?

If I were you, I'd rather just get a cracked version of fraps[FULL VERSION], but thats just me.

Go ahead and get w/e recorder you want. Fraps is mainly preferred, but there are many others out there, and some can record whatever the fudge you do on your desktop, i.e, CamStudio.

I don't really get cracks for programs, and WeGame didn't work.

All you need to do for full version of fraps is just get a torrent of cracked fraps[full] then replace the fraps.exe with the downloaded cracked fraps and voila! instant recording.
