Recently my resollution for IE has changed to a lower res and I started to get lag spikes in Half-Life 2 EP2 and in a Hl1 mod? What the hell is happening to my computer? I never changed any settings?

Run Maleware Bytes make sure your computer didn't get a virus.

Windows Defender fails, Maleware bytes is a lot better scanner

Windows Defender???

You should get a real AV, even Microsoft itself acknowledges this. Try AVG for AV and Comodo for Firewall.

EDIT: or malware bytes, lol.
