We really should do something about the forums. There obviously dead as a door nail. Perhaps we should do a big jump and mover to another game.......

i never even played it, didnt appeal to me too much. But it would be cool if you made a Gmod, TF2, or CSS server

Cartman did say that most of our forum members are waiting for the new Sven coop patch to come out. Hopefully that will bring a lot of them back.

I only have enough resources left on my server for a CSS server, don't have enough ram or hd space for a gmod server or tf2 server.

i'll be back for the new sc update... if i'm not lazy or busy

I have noticed that cartman's server is pretty popular, there is usually always someone on it

also i lied about coming back to sven. i need the hard drive space
plus i'd rather not play with people who i don't know.

there is advertisement on the sc server for this forum, not a whole lot but there is, there's also links in the motd and server adverts in the OC server too to my site.

Honestly, I think it's because most of the regulars have done everything there is to do. Most multiplayer games are only alive because of competition and since Sven Coop is purely a cooperative game, there's not much fun to be had in killing the same braindead AI enemies on the same maps.

First of all, please do NOT make a Gmod/TF2/CSS server, it might overkill the host. In my opinion i suggest we have a CS server (Not reg, because reg is kind of dead, its pretty much GG, WC3, ZMod, KZ, HnS, or anything else possible).

Second, Masta, there are a variety of maps out on Sven Co-Op, about 300-500+. Also, people just play the same maps over and over and not care about being cooperative because they just want to level their highest level on Sven Co-Op. As much as I want to map for Sven Co-Op, I don't have any ideas of what to do for it, and if i do, there is a high chance of me ditching the map when its half-way done(as I tend to make shorter things than longer sequences). I'm currently focusing on mapping a bit for Resident Evil Cold Blood Beta 2 (still waiting for RE: Prologue, which is RECBB3), and still wishing Minuit would make a few more maps for it than just leaving it dead.

Third, the forum is about how to get the thread active. Because we're normally a forum around a game mod, why not try adding a real game that won't overkill the hosting server or push it to the limit (like my opinion up there in the first of all :] ).
