This is a very annoying problem to me now, and its happening alot to my server.
I create my server
I try to join my server
I cant contact my server
It gives a Failed to Contact server error
Anyone know how to fix this?
At first i thought it was sv_lan, but it wasn't.

Are you using a wireless router? I noticed since i got mine i cant run it, so maybe thats your problem

it might be the goldsource update for hl

I could run mine just fine after the GoldSRC engine update

Yeah im right, its probably due to you being on a wifi or a wireless connection or something...(i think you told me your on a WiFi connection)
I just hooked up my modem and its running

I just reconnected my internet cord to another router because my brother unplugged mine for some shit reason.
and its not even a problem.
I don't know why it does this constantly. Sometimes it lets people in, the next time, it dont.
Even I couldn't Join.
