 Crashing problem

Ive recently upgraded to vista and i wanted to get back to sven but now when im playing it for like 3 minutes its crashes doesnt happen to any other games. can anyone help? :(

Try running steam.exe as administrator *Right click on steam.exe or a shortcut, and select "Run as administrator", see if that works.

there's not much that can be done, I get pretty bad crashing to, you could try different sets of drivers for your gfx and sound cards.

Have you tried changing your video render mode. I had issues like that before and all I had to do was change it to D3D. The only draw back is that water splashes are all black but at least no more crashes.

no problem man. I was so happy myself when i was able to play svencoop and not have to keep reconnecting.

Dang that black water is annoying but it totally beats crashing :wink: thanks again :)

P.S. Is there any possible solution on fixing the black water :?:

I doubt it. The video mode states we are not even suppose to be useing what we are useing. But this was the only way I could get it to work with the xp system that cartman uses. If you do find a fix though let me know. That black water can really get in the way.
