Not really a big deal, but it's happened twice where my spray turns to someone else's. Specifically a freakin' lombax!'s spray! The second time, a freakin' lombax! wasn't even in the game! At first, I thought it was client-side only, but others saw it, too.
Everyone else still had their own spray. Was kind of funny, actually... two people going around with the exact same spray

Like I said, not really a big deal since it fixed itself after a while (rejoining didn't fix it the first time it happened). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it's something I did to cause it? Or just a weird random glitch?

Probably a bug(may or may not be mod based), never happened to me though, the server probably mixes up your spray with someone elses spray. I'm not really sure how the server keeps track of sprays exactly since the sprays are saved on the server without any player info for the spray, maybe by CRC like how it's done in source. I could try to delete the custom.hpk file on the server and see if that clears it up.

lol, I extracted the sprays from the .hpk file to see what some people were using, I can see yours in there and lambax has a few sprays in there, more then most I think.

lol, that's quite an assortment...! I've seen a lot worse than that...
At least most people with the "disturbing ones" seem to have common sense of when and when NOT to use them :p ...I've yet to see those show up in-game. Saw the tunnel one once - really cool, actually.


BTW, it happened again - this time Lombax! had my spray (at least I'm pretty sure it was Lombax!). I was thinking maybe it was due to similarities in SteamID's - nope, not even close, as far as I can tell.

You could try to change the resolution of yours, it's the same as most of lombax's sprays, that might help.

Nothing can be done about it, since the custom.hpk file where sprays are stored doesn't store any player info. The only way you can catch them is when they use it on the server.
